‘Ref-Produced‘ stands for ‘Refugee-Produced.’ Philoi partners with the forcibly displaced by creating marketing opportunities for them in Australia. These avenues would otherwise not be possible for them to cultivate.
All the proceeds from Ref-Produced will go towards church-based community development projects in the respective areas where they were produced, as well as the individuals who designed the items.

Each purchase supports Christians forced from their homes, helping sustain dignity, purpose, and hope while they live in limbo.
Payan* is a Christian convert who was forced to flee his home country due to his faith in Christ. When his family had discovered his conversion, they burned his Bible. He was later kidnapped and tortured. He fled to a neighbouring country, where he cannot legally work.
Mary* became a Christian in Iran, but was aggressively interrogated by her faith by Iranian authorities. Forcing her to flee to Turkey, she waits in limbo – her movements are heavily restricted and she also cannot legally work.
As both of these individuals wait for hope of resettlement opportunities, we have partnered with them to showcase their talents and supporting them in their displacement. Both Payan and Mary have designed Christmas cards, which Philoi sells in Australia each year – both on our store and in churches/schools.
