Philoi Global is a Christian organisation dedicated to fostering and facilitating faith-based organisations. We serve as a connector, collaborator, catalyst and consultant – providing services for ‘little-known’ initiatives. We seek to enable these initiatives to reach their full potential by working together.

Philoi seeks to foster little-known initiatives that respond to crucial concerns of disadvantaged communities. We do this by fostering the Christian community to make biblically-shaped responses to global poverty and forcible migration. We collaborate with community-based Christian organisations, churches, and mission movements around the world.
why philoi?
PHILOI (Ancient Greek: φίλοι; plural of φίλος philos "friend") was used in the ancient Hellenistic kingdoms. The term "Philoi" was a title for the royal friends, also seen as the advisors of the king. The meaning of "Philoi" is based on the Greek value for reciprocity.
Jesus said: You are my friends (φίλοι) if you do what I command. (John 15:14)

we connect
Connecting and networking is the key to success. The main hurdle for connecting is our time constraints - not knowing where, when, or who to network with. Many try to reinvent responses alone and fail in isolation. Philoi is committed to connecting with existing networks and is willing to facilitate new networks to find holistic solutions.
we collaborate
Only through collaboration across churches, humanitarian and mission agencies, could we tackle the challenges faced by disadvantaged and displaced communities. Philoi support collaborations to partner effectively and strategically by building capacity and training.
we consult
Philoi consults with emerging initiatives to support them in programme design, strategy planning, implementation and evaluation.
we catalyse
Philoi believes that Christian engagement in responding to the needs of the vulnerable communities and the forcibly displaced requires creative thinking and innovative solutions. We believe in innovations at the grass-root level to bring social change and solutions.
